Stitchin Heaven Howdy.. a blog from a cute store in Texas with quite a following! Some of you FaceBook Friends of mine have probably noticed their logo coming and going on my Wall, and have never known the nimble little internet fairy, Nichole, who spreads her happy attitude across so many of the quilt/sewing pages! Click on the link above and hopefully you will see her! Join us both on FaceBook!! It has been more fun than I could have imagined to connect with so many nice folks from past and present! Thanks again, Stitchin’ Heaven!

Wanted to share this image I took in my studio of several bags with a Valentine theme! I think I love the month of February because it seems to exist within a classic color palette… red, black, pink, and white! Shown are examples of my Preppy Mini-Tote in fabric by Blank Quilting-Ascot collection, The Coquette Bag- shown in a rose print by Hi-Fashion Fabrics, The Interchangeable Bag- shown in fabric by Michael Miller Fabrics, and a collage style of trim is shown on a second Coquette Bag with butterfly fabric by Alexander Henry Fabrics. Examples using The Bangle Bracelet Set are displayed with bits and pieces of some great coordinating ribbons and trims. Most of these fabrics were found recently in a shop in Broken Arrown Oklahoma called “SewFlakes”, who by the way, carry several of my patterns!
Well…. actually I am stretching it a bit! Five of my handbags that is, were included in his Quilter’s Home Magazine, ( p. 40 to be exact ) “Great Spring Designs from Hot Designers” in the new March edition! So delighted to be in the mix! It is a great article and features many other cuties! Thanks, Mark!
Wanted to share this just because I LOVE it, and look at it now everyday in my studio~ my new Jonathan Adler “Bug“! Check out the license plate too in the close-up! I had to have this piece since I drive a periwinkle “Blue Vortex” VW New Beetle since 2001, complete with it’s orange daisy on the dash! I would not give it up for the world! Here is a link to Jonathan’s site
